I can't answer your question directly, but can offer an alternative.
If you are running sendmail-8.13.6, then pysrs will cause sendmail to apply
SRS
to forwarded (or all) mail.

The RPM installs a sendmail Socketmap daemon and a HACK for
your sendmail.mc.
Anything similar for postfix ?
