a while ago, Jeff Carnahan from US Bank made contact with the council
and we privately exchanged some thoughts about SPF, other e-mail
authentication solutions, and how financial institutions could benefit
from any or all of them.
Now he invited the SPF council to send a representative or two to the
upcoming BITS "E-Mail Security Meeting" (BITS, formerly an acronym for
"Banking Industry Technology Secretariat", being a consortium of 100 of
the largest financial institutions in the United States) in Washington,
DC, US, on Thursday, 2006-11-09.
As none of the council -- possibly with the sole exception of Stuart --
can make it to that meeting, we agreed to forward the invitation to the
broader project community. See the invitation below and the meeting
details[1,2,3].
Stuart,
Scott said he could go -- can you go, too?
