On the same lines i wanted to know if there is a tool that helps convert from
XML to PDF .. Not a full fledged tool but something that generates a code
which comprises of some default xsl-fo code that can help save some time ...
I bilieve there may not be anything like that coz pdf outputs structure can
vary depending on requirement .But am still asking the group so that i can be

Hi Jeremy.
AFAIK getting something complex out of pdf
is not really on.
HTH DaveP.
I have been earnestly trying to find a tool that
converts a .PDF file
to .FO or some close approximation of that. I will be
creating complex PDF
documents using XML/ XSLT and I already have the PDF format
(for final look
and feel). For some reason I thought I had heard (or read)
that there was
such a tool. Any direction is greatly appreciated.
Thanx,
Jeremy
