Hi,
I am attempting to count like values and add an increasing value to
the string. However, I am having a mental block and cannot seem to
figure out how to do this.
You can't modify the source tree (as you know, since you've read it in the
tutorial or spec, right) - you have to make a modified copy of it.
I am trying to do this to the attribute @CT (below).
Anyone have any suggestions?
An identity transformation with a template for @CT to modify it the way you
want to, i.e.
<xsl:template match="@*|node()">
<xsl:copy>
<xsl:apply-templates select="@*|node()"/>
</xsl:copy>
</xsl:template>
<xsl:template match="@CT">
<xsl:attribute name="CT">
<xsl:value-of select="." />
<xsl:text>/</xsl:text>
<!-- the code that counts the 'like values' -->
</xsl:attribute>
</xsl:template>
