Hi Ritu
thanx for your answer also there is something i want to ask about
i want to make this solution flexible which title not fixed and if u add any
element the stylesheet can handle it without changing
the solution u write is good if the number of items or elements is fixed
so i want to get caption once only from the document and put it in the
header of the table
thanx

Hi Mohammed,
Is this output intended to be HTML? If yes, then you can write HTML tags
to
generate a table like <table> <tr> <td> .... and produce this kind of
output
quite easily.
You can do something like
<xsl:template match='document'>
<html><body>
<table>
<tr><td>Product No</td>
<td>Unit Price</td>
<td>Currency </td>
<td>quantity </td>
<td>Price </td>
</tr>
<xsl:for-each select="row">
<tr>
<xsl:for-each select="item">
<td><xsl:value-of select="amount"/></td>
</xsl:for-each>
</tr>
</xsl:for-each>
</table>
</body></html>
</xsl:template>

Hi Mohammed
Give an example of your final output. That would help us understand
the
problem better
Thanks
