RE: XML in IE6

2002-10-22 13:28:12
Friends,
Great! Well I know that I got a flakey OS install. So, I am
"supposed" to get a "re-clone" (hopefully there will be no violence
when the appear I don't approve of using [the] force with software
issues. hehe) of my Dell in the "near future".

Sincerely,
Mike Ferrando

p.s. "dumb" as in nothing really interesting and sophisticated
interms of transformation, just viewing the document. Saving money or
time is always a good feeling.

Mike,

I selected your XML doc, copied it, opened a text editor, pasted
it,
cleaned it up (made sure each line was actually on 1 line) saved it
as an
XML file, then launched IE 6, File:Open, navigated to the file,
clicked
"open" and it loaded.

Friends,
Thanks for your help.

This might sound really dumb, but actually I have an xml document
(below) and I just want to see it in my browser. I use SAXON and
Note
Tab Pro to do my transformations. The finished document (the
schema
that is) is what view in Explorer since it is nice to open and
close
the nodes. It is nice to have software that works in many ways so
that I don't have to wait for anything to be installed. I will
probably retire before such requests are ever filled.
