IMHO its worth a heck of a lot Michael.
I find it extremely useful when reporting errors on source files
sourced by non XML'ers.
It would be a very useful addition to XSLT 2.... No, I'll check
(if it's already there :-)
Suggest it for EXSLT, it may end up as a portable solution :-)
