I'd be interested in any solutions you find; so far, the solution I've been
investigating is converting MathML to SVG and rendering that. The MathML
implementations page (http://www.w3.org/Math/implementations.html) lists two
products that should do this, JEuclid and SchemaSoft's MathML to SVG
converter.
