Take a look at tour.xsl in the samples/styles directory of the Saxon 7.4
distribution. It makes heavy use of xsl:function, including some
functions that are quite simple and others that are pretty tortuous.

Subject: [xsl] xsl:function
Hello-
Would someone please give me a simple example of creating a
user defined function using <xsl:function> I'm having a
really hard time finding complete examples for some reason.
Thanks-
Mac
