server or client side transform: handling mime types

2003-03-25 15:04:03
It would be useful to be able to serve up xml with an attached
stylesheet instruction when a browser can specifically support it
(for example mozilla) and to do the transform on the server side if
the browser doesn't support it (eg: lynx).

I can't find any example of this anywhere... is there an accepted
convention for doing this?
