Cant use Xhtml Because I need to add headers and footers to the
documents which changes based on the user, so far I cannot find any way
to do other than to use a genuine word document, also the client has
specified that they want word documents. These can be viewed in the
browser edited and saved back to the server.

Alan

Why not use html/xhtml? It's supported by word.

Subject: [xsl] Generating word format Xml Documents
HI List,
Has anyone here looked into generating word xml files using xslt?
I have several word template files each with several book marks, I
need
to transform data from the database into certain formats and then use
these formatted items in the place holders on the document.
This is for a web application running on the .net framework, I am
looking at doing this because I cannot use the Word.Application on my
webserver. Any help would be much appreciated
Regards,
Alan
