Active Awards Programmers' Choice Nominees are in!

Thanks to the community for recognizing their peers in ActiveState's
third annual Active Awards. The awards honor those who *actively*
contribute to open source programming languages and display excellence
in their programming efforts.
Nominated in the XSLT category are:
* Jacek R. Ambroziak - Original developer of the XSLTC XSLT
optimization and compilation technology. Now developing Gregor, the
next generation of that technology.
* James Clark - XML contributor; author of expat XML parser,
XT XSLT processor, and Jade DSSSL processor.
* Michael Kay - Creator of Saxon, an open-source XSLT processor;
author of XSLT Programmers' Reference.
* Dimitre Novatchev - Author of the open-source XSLT functional
programming library, FXSL, as well as an XPath Visualizer.
* Uche Ogbuji & Mike Olson - Developers of 4Suite, an XSLT processor
and XSLT-based server framework; contributed to the XPath and XSLT
components of PyXML; Extensive writings on XPath, XSLT and Python.
