well u could use xpath to do the dirty work here
<xsl:variable name="someparam"/>
<xsl:apply-templates select="//formular[(_at_)name=$someparam]"/>
then the formular matching template will be used....u could also look into
using modes on matching templates, if u want different behavior.
then u matching template is just ....
