Hi,

i did not get (sed -e s/encoding="utf-8"//) what do you mean?

Sed is a stream editor, and the above regexp will remove all occurences of 
string 'encoding="utf-8"' in the input stream -- makes no difference if you use 
Perl or Omnimark to do the job, though. That is, post-process the XSLT output 
to suit your nneeds.
