Hi Saurabh,
The dictionary meaning of Rendering is --
"To convert (graphics) from a file into visual form,
as on a video display"
That's one definition. But the word has no formal technical definition in
the context of XML, and more generally, "rendering" can refer to any kind
of extraction (hence, transformation), but most especially for
presentation. (The root meaning of the word is "give back".)
So it is *possible" to speak of "rendering" a schema from an XML document
(in the sense of "deriving" a schema from a document), or the other way
around, without abusing the general English-language sense of the word.
In the technical context, however (as Mukul and Kobayashi-san have stated),
"rendering XML" will usually mean, if not actually displaying it, at least
converting it into a display format. So you may find that others become
confused if you use the term in the context of schema processing.
Cheers,
Wendell
