I have gotten snooty, unhelpful replies too
Excuse me, but you (Rojas-Rennke) are the one who is out of line here.
Several people have suggested that they have not answered a question
(which was re-posted because no one had answered it) because the question
is not clear enough to be answer-able, and suggested that there are ways
to ask questions that make them easier to answer (such as providing
descriptive subject lines).
This is helpful behavior; it is explaining why they can't answer the question.
Perhaps their language was not as conciliatory as you might like, but the
suggestions were positive.
The negativity I see here is accusing the people giving those replies of being
rude.
If you can answer the question as it was asked, please do so. If you can't, the
only helpful thing you can do is to help the poster ask a clearer question/
