I want to be able to convert the "true" and "false" strings to "1" and "0",
respectively, when I get the value of a boolean type element. However, I
want to be sure the XSD schema has defined the element as type boolean, and
it is not just a string element with the value "true". I think I need to
know the data type of an element, but I cannot find a MSXML4 property or
method that returns this type information, using the schema.
It would have to be an extension or an implementation of data-type-aware
XSLT 2.0 because XSLT 1.0 works on the instance and DTD default attribute
string information and not on the document model constraints.
I hope this helps.
