Well, for 3 days you're doing well so be encouraged by that. Actually,
you would be surprised at just how easy it is to make the changes but
the other thing that I didn't mention in my last email that I should
have is that on the flipside of performance is practicality, reality,
and the fact then when you're using it for a one off transformation
performance may not be as much of an issue when transforming small
files.
Exactly. In this case, I happen to have two things that have to get out
the door tomorrow, so it's all about what I can do without bending my
brain overly much.
If you do find yourself with the need to continue development in XSL-FO
or XSLT I do encourage you to do some quick research as you will be
greatly encouraged when you find out just how much is possible with
these technologies.
I think I'm already past the point of giving up. :)
What my plans are:
1) to write some short story templates, which will be variants on the
ones I already have. :)
2) to write an IEEE paper format -- no one seems to have written one
for XSL-FO...which seems odd. If I'm wrong and someone has, I'd
*really* appreciate it.
3) to write some cool output transformations for
