I'm glad to announce a new release of Oxygen, version 4.2.
There are a couple of features in this new version that I want to
briefly point out here as they relate to XSLT development. For a summary
of the features added by version 4.2 see the end of the message and for
full details please visit our website:

One feature that is directly related with XSLT development is the
possibility to stop transformations in progress. After starting a
transformation a new action becomes enabled allowing the user to stop
that transformation. Thus the user is in control and can decide to stop
a time consuming transformation at any time.
The features that indirectly connect with XSLT development as they work
with any schema in general are the new added Schema Model View and the
improved content completion support. While editing XSLT stylesheets the
Schema Model View will present information about the XSLT elements and
attributes. The content completion will present for each element or
attribute selected in the proposals list an additional popup with
documentation related with that element, similar with how the Java
editors present the Javadoc documentation for a method selected in the
content completion list.
