Re: sorting and preceding-sibling - only print *first* in sorted list??

I have an XSLT that depends on preceding-sibling working with a sorted
node set,

That would be unfortunate because node sets are _sets_ and as such the
nodes in them are not stored in any order. A set is not the same thing
as a list. {1,2,3} is the same set as {2,1,3}.
