RE: Problem with case-sensitivity

In 2.0 you can choose a case-insensitive collation (assuming your vendor
provides one), or you can use the functions upper-case() and lower-case().

In 1.0 the usual solution is to use

translate(., 'ABCDEF...', 'abcdef...')

remembering to include all the characters present in the alphabet used by
your data.

Subject: [xsl] Problem with case-sensitivity

Dear all,

when i use the function:

contains(@name,$name)

it returns true only if even the case are the same, how do i
go about making
it work even when the case is different i.e if @name = luke
and $name = Luke
returns true?

thanks in advance, regards
Luke Ambrogio
