Cool, thanks Colin! I will be back in touch with you as soon as I have some test results for you to crunch and devour.

Thanks for all your doing for the XSLT community with this project!!! I know a lot of people who are simply overwhelmed (in a good way) by the activity on this list (and therefore the XSLT community given that there one in the same) and how its members are actively and openly giving of there time and talents with no expectations for any thing in return. You have definitely lived up to the type of person people have come to respect in this neck of the internet landscape... Cheers to you for all of your hard work!

Any except JVM. Reasons for not suitable on JVM are:

1) Saxon is more complete in most respects.
2) More seriously, I don't think SmartEiffel 1.0's compile_to_java
command works, and none of the other compilers target the JVM, so
it would be necessary to do JNI programming, or somethin glike that.

Basic.
No current plans for Schema awarness - I'd have to write a schema
processor first.
