Try following the instructions at

If it does'nt help, then I am afraid you would need to
write more efficient recursion program(like Divide and
Conquer). Here is an article about the same -

Even with this empty template the Xalan is throwing
error
something like:
880 >= 1
Its difficult to believe this! Please show the
complete code.
