Yes, Michael, "Jänner" is the Austrian's way to say "Januar"
The same goes for "Feber" and "Februar" ;)

No, these two are not equivalent. The matches() solution passes the 
whole of the text node that matches the regex to the called 
template;

oops yes, you are correct of course. Although I think in this 
case the regexp was matching the whole text string so the 
difference isn't that great, but still my answer was probably 
misleading.
