it was a typo, I used $referid instead '$referid'.

You have used the string '$referid' as the key
value. You probably have
no key with that value. If you want the value of the
variable referid
then you want $referid not '$referid'. Although if
that is the only
place you use that variable, which seems likely then
you don't need a
variable at all, you could just use @levelref
