Re: EXSLT implementation in .NET

That should have said "Are you working through ASP.NET?" Sorry 'bout
that! I realize you yourself are not actually ASP.NET :D

Whats the context? Are you ASP.NET?

You are correct; I wasn't using the proper wrapper, and since we are
on the subject, do you prefer to use the wrapper or the EventArgs and
add the name extension? Here is what I have working:

XmlDocument xmlDoc = new XmlDocument();
ExsltTransform xslT = new ExsltTransform();
XmlTextWriter writer = new XmlTextWriter("..sample_results.xml", null);

...

xslT.Transform(nav,xslArgs,writer);

It is the correct namespace and if I would have read the first half of
your message I would have realized that. How are you calling the
transformation process?

This error obviously suggests it it having troubles locating the
extension function but you obviously already knew this. The only
thing that comes to mind is that you havent referenced the assembly
properly and as such you are still accessing System.Xml.Xsl namespace
methods instead of the EXSLT wrapper to the methods. What language
are you writing this in and are you calling this from an ASP.NET
script or directly in a C# or VB source file?

I think. And, I have installed and referenced the GotDotNet.Exslt.DLL

Is this off topic?
I have the following:
xmlns:date="http://exslt.org/dates-and-times";
exclude-result-prefixes="date"

I get the follwing error:
Cannot find the script or external object that implements prefix
'date'.

My implementation of it looks like this:
<xsl:value-of select="date:date(.)"/>

Any ideas how to get this to fly in .NET?

Karl
