Has anyone converted notes documents to pdf using FOP.
Just want to know
if it can be done successfully.

I am working on it, but facing some issues.
I would have ventured a guess this was the case from the first part of
your email. Given you haven't told us any more details, perhaps
checking out
http://xml.apache.org/fop/gethelp.html will help
