Re: Copying a document except specific root attribute

  <xsl:template match="/@myRootAttribute"/>


That matches an attribute of the root node called myRootAttribute
but root nodes can not have attributes.

If your attribute is on the top level element then that is

<xsl:template match="/*/@myRootAttribute"/>

/ is not the top level elemment, it is its _parent_.
