Re: increment in xpath

I'm looking for something like that in XSL:
=========================
<xsl:varible name="k" select="0" />
<xsl:for-each select="myList">
    Increment: <xsl:value-of select="number($k)+3" />
</xsl:for-each>
=========================


The above is legal xslt so you can do exactly that.
However perhaps you want


<xsl:for-each select="myList">
    Increment: <xsl:value-of select="position()+3" />
</xsl:for-each>
