A number of products (e.g. Saxon) have extensions to do this.

Alternatively, Access has an export-to-xml capability.

Subject: [xsl] Accessing database

Hello xsl-list,

Is it possible to access database from XSLT ?
My requirement is, converting access file to XML file.

Thanks and Regards,
Sekhar
