Saxon has an option to save the "compiled" version of a stylesheet to a file
(and therefore to distribute it in compiled form). This isn't intended to be
resistant to reverse engineering, but some people are using it that way.

Subject: [xsl] Question about XSLT IP protection
Hi,
One way to protect your XSLT Intellectual Property, that I
can think of, is to provide the
transformation as a web service behind a server. Is there any
other mechanism to protect the XSLT
IP? Perhaps some compilation option or something similar.
Thanks,
Anupam.
