My question: Am I best to: (a) continue to learn 1.0, and then (when
I've mastered it sufficiently), learn to work with 2.0, (b) continue
to learn 1.0 and simply use it (ignoring the new version), or (c) try
to get up to speed on version 2.0 as quickly as possible?
Obviously a question of opinion...what's yours?
Not so much a question of opinion, more a question of the projects you
expect to be working on and the attitude of the project managers to
technology selection. Faced with the dilemma of "twice the productivity but
twice the risk", different projects will (quite rightly) make different
decisions.
