Subject: [xsl] Needing to use XML with Excel 2

Hi Joe Fawcett, thanx for while.

I hope that now it helps to clarify.

I said I'm working with library.xml (my principal bd) that calls

compares-book.xsl below,

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

<xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform";
version="1.0">
 <xsl:output method="html" encoding="ISO-8859-1"
doctype-public="-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN" />

<xsl:variable name="domain" select="//domain" />

<xsl:param name="request" select="'order.xml'"/>
<xsl:variable name="segundo" select="document($request)"/>

 <xsl:key name="by-model" match="references" use="ISBN" />

 <xsl:template match="/">........

this XSL compares the two XMLs (libray.xml and order.xml). this is the
operation that I'm trying to do using MS EXcel.

The most likely thing looks like $request does not contain the correct value, how are you setting it, there's no mention of it in the initial code?
