The mission of XSL-List is to host discussion of XSL itself, XSL
applications and implementation, and XSL user questions. XSL-List is
not, and cannot be, a general forum.
XSL-List is valued because:
- the participants are knowledgeable and helpful, and
- the list is tightly focused.
In order to maintain the focus, I ask that when a clearly off-topic
message is posted, that participants:
- send me a note at <xsl-list-owner(_at_)lists(_dot_)mulberrytech(_dot_)com>,
so
I can send the poster an off-list message telling him/her that
the posting is off topic, and (if I can) suggesting another
information source.
- respond off-list if you want to respond. I know that many
of you are inclined to be helpful, and I like and respect that
about you. But if the question is about horse races, or tea
kettles, or computing in a non-XML-non-XSL environment, it
really doesn't belong on XSL-List.
Thank you for your help.
