How is it possible using XSLT1.0 and only one XSLT?
processing a sorted list is much easier in XSLT 1 if you allow yourself
use of the x:node-set() extension function, which is available pretty
much everywhere except firefox (and it's available in firefox 3 alpha).
It's not impossible to do without this extension, just harder, so before
people suggest solutions you might want to say if using extension
functions is OK.
