No, it is not a good idea to post the same message to two lists; this
is called cross-posting and it leads to situations in which some
people get two copies of messages and some people have access to only
part of a thread. It is confusing and bad manners.
Yes, this is the sort of question that is appropriate on XSL-List. It
would have been better if you had written a separate message to
XSL-List saying that you have been discussing an issue on another
list that has led to an XSLT question. And then describe the question.
