Re: [xsl] WYSIWYG XSLT editor

2008-02-06 12:33:00
Hi All,
We use XSLT to transform xml to HTML document for Mail generation and
HTML content is owned by the content reader and proof readers .
It does have any value addition for the developer to edit "is and was"
in the HTML portion. They could only concentrate on the xpath and
template logic.
The reason why we asked web application is that we have workflow
system which web based and the solution which we create should be
integrated with existing application.

Hope I am clear on my viewpoint. Let me know is there any solution for
the above scenario.

Thanks,
Senthil

Excellent point, Steven.

Of course, "These are my requirements, what should I use?" is a
question not in scope for this list.

But "These are my requirements; are there XSLT-based solutions
available" is (and very much so).

Cheers,
Wendell

I wonder why someone that wants a WYSIWYG solution would care about
the underlying technologies? Perhaps Senthil can give requirements for
his application. I assume that what she/he is looking for is an online
publishing tool of some kind. Such tools may well use XSLT but not
actually generate it.
