[xsl] Converting special characters in a CSV file using XSLT

Is it possible to convert the following characters:

¹ replace with '  (right single quotation marks with apostrophies)
é replace with e
­ replace with -   (en dash with a hyphen/minus)

Within a CSV file using XSLT?

Using XML version 1.0, processing with Kernow.
