I think I meant, in java double (whose value space is wider) is a base
type of float.

I'm not really suggesting to make comparisons of XML Schema
type-system (which is designed for XML) with java's type system [1]
(both are different languages :)

I just thought making this analogy [1] was useful for discussion.
