Hello Michael,
Here's the two winners of the licences for Saxonica-EE 9.3 at last week's
Balisage:
Bob Stuart bobstuart(_at_)mac(_dot_)com
Jorge Williams jorge(_dot_)williams(_at_)rackspace(_dot_)com
I'd appreciate your contacting them, and giving them access instructions.
Thank you for your donations and contribution to the conference. It's always
good to get together with you too. The money made by the donations went a long
way to supporting the two excellent attending student award winners, and added
significantly to the fun at the conference.
You might also be interested in knowing that Nathan Day won the bid on the
O'Reilly ebook XSLT 2.0 and XPath 2.0 Programmer's Reference, 4th Ed.
Being a long-time programming language freak, I found O'Neil's talk on the
performance issues in the XSLT/XQuery/XPath implementation interesting --
mostly about things I have already encountered in my 45 year experience in the
field, but none-the-less well organized and informative, especially how you
folk have responded to the issues.
See you next year.
Sam.
