The prefix-from-QName() function can be useful when used in
combination with the node-name($arg as node()?) function that returns
a QName from the node passed as a parameter (or just the context node
in XPath 3.0) to the function. So, for example, you could use:
prefix-from-QName(node-name($node))
Oh, I see... So this is why we have node-name() in addition to name().
