We just did some testing of zoom webinar in a browser.
This works well, all functionality of the client app is available in the
browser too.
As for Chrome, I even did some testing on a Chromebook. All there.

Sounds great. Which software will be needed to to view a webinar? As the
schedule links end up on a zoom site I suppose it is zoom? Does one need
to install anything or is a browser like Chrome enough?
We will use Zoom video webinar, which gives us somewhat more configuration
power and bandwidth than zoom basic meeting.
We have all installed the zoom clients (tested on the common operating systems,
even on an iphone :-)
I must admit that we have not tested the browser interface (there definitely is
one)
Will do a test session tomorrow and report
Also, will the webinars be available later on even if one can't make it
to the live event?
Yes, we will definitely record the webinars
Still checking where they will end up after,
but we hope to make them available in time for a follow up session
