[fetchmail]fetchmail has probs with number-username

Hi everybody,

does anyone have experience with getting mail from pop3-mailbox which
username is numeric?

fetchmail reports :
fetchmail: /home/<username>/.fetchmailrc:2: parse error at 123456
line 1 has a comment.

fetchmail-version 6.2.3-28

Any suggestions?
