content of .forward file

I have three environments in which I can use procmail.
Up till now I have been using essentially same line for invoking procmail
in .forward files in all sites and not recognized any problem
but today found out that procmail man pages in each site indicate different
 line as follows.
Apart from the procmail path and #YOUR_USERNAME,
are they completely interchangeable?
Or is it supposed to use the line found on man page for the specific site?
Why are they different?
Is one better than others?

1st site: ver4
"|IFS=' '&&exec /usr/local/bin/procmail -f-||exit 75 #YOUR_USERNAME"

2nd site: ver7
"|IFS=' '&&p=/usr/local/bin/procmail&&test -f $p&&exec $p -Yf-||exit 75
#YOUR_USERNAME"

3rd site: ver7
"|exec /home/furu/bin/procmail"
