Hello
Im trying to setup an email server, and I've installed ClamAV + Clamassassin
as per the papers, and the readme files, and I have them both working.
My problem is actually in setting up procmail. I simple have absolutely no
idea on how to set it up correctly. I tried reading documents here and there
(through a google search), but all of that has got me more confused.
The main question that are confusing me are -
1) how does procmail work upon recieving and email? does it run
automatically, or do I have to setup a script or another program to call it?
2) since the server would have nobody logged onto it, where should the
procmailrc file be? better still, what exactly should the file contain?
If there are any documents that you guys know of, or a how-to from your own
experience that would be much appreciated. I should also mention that I am
very new to the linux world (about 2months experience only) so go easy on me
:)
