I just received a notice today that the RFC Editor has put the SPF I-D
in their queue. See: http://www.rfc-editor.org/queue.html
I thought that the jump from "IESG approval" to "RFC Editor Queue"
would be a really quick handoff, but apparently not. I'm not sure if
the 2.5 week delay is normal, or if it indicates some problems that I
don't know about.

Ok, I noticed that this morning, the SPF I-D has finally had its
status updated to be in the "RFC Editor Queue". *sigh*. That is 5
days just to get the status updated. No other requests/emails from
the editor yet. We are no longer at the *very* bottom of the queue,
another I-D has been placed below us.
It does note:

Apparentely on hold because of the new ID, you could have reffed the
old/current one to avoid that. But the editor will fix that.
