[fetchmail]limiting the size of messages?

I know about "limit" for limiting the messages that are downloaded.  But,
is there a way to instead limit the size of messages, e.g., instead of
leaving messages greater than 100000 octets on the server, can I tell
fetchmail to only download up to the first 100000 octets from each message?
(I realize that this may screw up some mail messages, such as those with
attachments.)
