[fetchmail]Poss. fetchmail bug

2001-08-31 08:50:52
I believe this is a bug with the .-escaping code, but I really cannot
say. I recognise that this may be fixed in 5.9, but figured it might
be worth submitting anyway. If this is a known and fixed bug, my
apologies.

Bob Uhl

I am running RedHat 7.1, with some modifications:
Linux latakia.dyndns.org 2.4.2-2 #1 Sun Apr 8 20:41:30 EDT 2001 i686 unknown

This is the default fetchmail RedHat installs.

My IMAP server greets with:
* OK  VOPmail IMAP4 Server 5.0.194.0 ready

I'm using sendmail with procmail as the delivery filter.

I used no command line options until debugging (when I used -d 0, -a,
-m in attempts to isolate problem).

My fetchmail version info is:
This is fetchmail release 5.7.4+IMAP-GSS+SSL+INET6+NLS
Linux latakia.dyndns.org 2.4.2-2 #1 Sun Apr 8 20:41:30 EDT 2001 i686 unknown

A few points this raises:

1. Is there the equivalent of such a strategically placed region in

Not within atlas. But there is a way. (and the J5 route for the

monospace assumed.

Note that this requires one side hold several worlds.

2. How do you handle diplomatic relations between parties that have a
very strained relationship yet require a certain level of diplomatic
cordiality?

with all due caution, care, and politeness. Walk on eggshells,
per the expression.
