Re: [fetchmail]new problem with 5.9.2

I got the same kind of problem using 5.9.2 under RH 7.1 (rpms downloaded
from http://www.tuxedo.org/~esr/fetchmail/).

I was using:

        fetchmail --quit -all -d 900 -L .fetchmail.log

and it seems working with all version...

This morning, I stopped all fetchmail daemons... upgraded with 5.9.2
rpms, and re-run my fetchmail daemons before restarting my wife's one.

So I got:
        [lct(_at_)tealc lct]$ fetchmail --quit -all -d 900 -L .fetchmail.log
        fetchmail: invalid option -- -
        String 'l' is not a valid number string.
        usage:  fetchmail [options] [server ...]
          Options are as follows:

So, I downgraded to 5.9.1 and 5.9.0 and discovered that the error
persists (it was working before... I don't understand anything !
Perhaps, I should go out and drink a coffee ! ;-)).

Now, with 5.9.2:
        [lct(_at_)tealc lct]$ fetchmail --version
        fetchmail: invalid option -- -
        String 'rsion' is not a valid number string.
        usage:  fetchmail [options] [server ...]
        Options are as follows:

BUT, still with 5.9.2:

        [lct(_at_)tealc lct]$ fetchmail -V | more
        This is fetchmail release 5.9.2
        Linux tealc.megrapet.org 2.4.9-lct1 #1 Sun Aug 26 15:30:56 CEST 2001 
i686 unknown
        Taking options from command line and /home/lct/.fetchmailrc
        Idfile is /home/lct/.fetchids
        Fetchmail will forward misaddressed multidrop messages to lct.

So, I changed my command to:

        fetchmail -q -a -d 900 -L .fetchmail.log
