[fetchmail]query for fetchmail

Hi,
     I have configured fetchmail-5.7.4-4 on Redhat 7.1 through fetchmailconf 
and whenever i run fetchmail -v -a  i am able to connect to the mail server my 
username & password are verified and passed and i always receive a message 
saying no mail for that account.But when i configure that account through 
windows (outlook express) i am able to receive messages.
I would be thankful to you if you kindly provide me with any suggestion .
